Haven't had Dogfish.

Have you tried Southern Tier? If not...TRUST ME. I'm in heaven right now. It's not my favorite Pumpkin beer. It's my favorite BEER.
Southern Tier ain't bad.... but you need to let it age for about a year. Anything from Rouge is great. But I LOVE, almost ANYTHING from BELL'S.

Can't beat anything they put out, except for Oberon which is only subpar in my books.
Love, Love...LOVE BELL'S! :D

Drove up to Kalamazoo over Labor Day weekend and spent a lovely afternoon in the Beer Garden. We also took the brewery tour.

Let's see..I had the Two Hearted Ale (of course), Kalamazoo IPA (reviews for this one were not so good, but I liked it...a lot!), Larry's Latest Double IPA (damn good stuff) and their Exp. Hop 2013 Black IPA (which I fell in love with)! I also sampled the Wild One. It was okay, just not my style. There were no available tables inside, so we had to pour our beer into plastic cups and sit out in the beer garden..which was fine. We also had a late lunce from the Eccentric Café. Food was good, Beer was GREAT! I'm ready to go back!

All that said, I have to say that Hopslam will forever remain my favorite Bell's beer. Liquid gold... :D :wench:

funny when Sierra Nevada started out they sold a Pitcher for $1.85 (Bud, Coors, Miller was $2.00) :D
my Region has a lot of "craft" breweries. but I find many of them to be pretentious and Arrogant.

or maybe I am just a cheap date :D :D :D :D  :o :o :o

Dambed auto correct
I really like the Sierra Nevada beers I've had - Torpedo, Hoptimum (love this one), Ruthless Rye and the Pale Ale. I don't normally care for the rye beers, but I actually liked the Ruthless Rye. I just saw that my son posted a pic of the Narwhal on his Instagram page, I'll have to see what he thought about it. :D

Have never seen that one. Is it available nationwide?
We have it on Boise, never looked for it elsewhere
never tried it either :)
I bought this a couple years ago ... yeah, mainly because I was just curious and liked the bottle. :D

It wasn't bad, it was worth trying...at least once. :D

I think I can get that here in Pittsburgh, but currently have so much beer in the fridge now that it will have to wait a while  Image
As I was cruisin' the beer aisle the other day, hubby politely, but firmly, reminded me that I should probably clear out some of what I already have in the fridge before I buy any more. I told him I was just 'window shopping' ... it doesn't hurt to look/drool (and make a list) right? :D

I'm a big fan of Bell's work. The Bell's Amber is a particular favorite, as is the Cherry Stout.

Quite yummy for those who like a darker, heavier beer:
It's a molasses based ale aged in Oak Barrels

Enjoying one of these Lake Erie Monsters from Great Lakes. A bit hoppy for me but not bad, 9.1% ABV will put you down pretty quickly

Even better on tap
Did you hear the one about me being a punk?
Did you hear the one about me being a drunk?
Did you hear the one about me losing my nerve?
Or how I'm just another f**** sheep in the herd?
Did you hear the one about me giving a s***?
Cause if I ever did I don't remember it.
