I was able to DL it, nice little intro story, players, some pics, recording details; however, it didn't list songwriters or lyrics. Would have liked to seen the songwriters.conched wrote:Enjoying reading all the BN reviews.
One question??? I got the digital copy on iTunes and it says I can't download the digital booklet for Songs From St Somewhere. Is there really one and has anyone else been able to get it?

Re: Songs From St Somewhere review
I played it my wife's new car with the kickass stereo system and thought it sounded great.
Even my wife, who is not the biggest Parrothead loves it. I think the album has a more island sound than the last album for sure.
I love the pans, the percussions and the horns. And the guitar work is great. I think the Reefers and guests were on point.
Overall, I think it's pretty solid album, especially at this stage of Buffett's career. I'm not big on "I'm No Russian" but "Too Drunk To Karaoke" is growing on me and
when cranked up on a good system it sounds pretty good. Maybe it's because I've been to drunk to karaoke a few times.
I also think it's well recorded. I think that Buffet Hotel was a little bass heavy.
