"Its 6 hours post surgery and John is doing well. He insisted on sitting up on side of bed for a little while this evening
and would have headed down to the gift store for newspapers if I hadn't beaten him to it!
The boys visited for about 30 mins Jody and Fanny will stop in to hug him later and then we'll settle in for this
cold, cold Nashville night. Gratitude beyond words for Dr Putnam and his team of carers.
So far, so good.....Thank you, thank you dear friends for the beautiful short and sweet messages here- I will read them to John tomorrow.
