Sail on Jared Michael Hobgood

Post by PeretHed66 »

Jared Michael Hobgood, one of the stable of regular performers at Irish Kevin's in Key West, passed away earlier this week. From what little information I've been able to find out, it appears he took his own life, but I have no official confirmation or details.

Like most of the other IK performers, very talented and hilarious. He'll be missed.

"Shalom, mother f'er."

The news of this brought many tears. He was a very . . . Very close friend. I don't believe it. I just don't. Few had his talent. "We spent it in good company" . . .

Jon.
the hit and run is as good as any religion around this time of year . . .

Jon, I'm very sorry for your loss. I didn't know Jared but my heart is heavy for all of you who were family and friends. He sounds like he was a wonderful man. Such a huge loss. :( :( :(
