Frisco Texas 2014

I am starting to worry. We had all sort of information last year before Feb. 1. I even went back and looked at the 2013 thread. Please tell me he is not skipping Dallas/Frisco this year? I might have to be talked down from the ledge.

Maybe things will change by the end of the month and we will get the dates?.. I'm confused on what to call the stadium.. DR. Pepper or is it the Toyota Stadium?? Either way I'm looking for some Buffett action for the summer.. I may need to visit another state for a concert.

It is now called Toyota Stadium, where FC Dallas plays (used to be called Dr. Pepper Park and FC Dallas Stadium). Their website is confusing because they just changed to Toyota Stadium a few months ago and still haven't updated everything.

I checked with the Toyota Stadium- They don't know of any JB concert at this time "please continue to check their website for updates"... George Strait has a concert June 7th at the AT&T stadium.. I'd rather see Jimmy and all the Parrot Heads! Way more fun!

Some good news. My source (a good source) says that JB at Frisco is a go...don't have date yet. I can't say anymore.

Isn't Dr. Pepper Park where the minor league baseball team plays? The soccer stadium used to be Pizza Hut Park.

That's right.. Pizza Hut Park is the FC Dallas facility.. Dr. Pepper is the baseball field. I was Confused!!!

Yay! I have once again failed at securing a hotel room early so as to have a place to stay and no need to drive home afterward (I'm about an hour away), but it's all good.

Ok, if he is playing in Austin on May 31st (3 hours from Dallas area), my guess is that he will be in Frisco the weekend before, May/24. Just my guess, but it fits in with the dates we have been discussing on this board.

"Buffett World" is rumoring Virginia Beach on May 24. Looks like May 10 may be it.

With it being so cold in Dallas the last few days, and with the white stuff falling, I hoped today would be the day we could find something out. I think it is about time to go "where the weather suits my clothes"

If May 24th is booked for Virgina Beach, and Austin is 5/31. That leaves May 10th and April 5th as the only open Sat. at Toyota Stadium. He generally does Dallas/Frisco after Austin. So it looks like the date may be in June. Sat. 6/7 FC Dallas has a home game. So we may be looking at a Tuesday date 6/3???? Or a different location other than Frisco???? Logistically speaking it is not smart to play Austin, then somewhere out of state, then come back to Texas. Maybe he plays Frisco prior to Austin Thurs. 5/29????

He generally does Dallas/Frisco after Austin.

Of the 6 times he's played in Frisco, last year was the only time he did a show in Austin the same year.

He could do Houston before Austin. Nothing is at the Woodlands the week before the 31st. It's open on the 24th too.

So I should have said South Texas, he generally does Dallas/Frisco after Austin/Houston. The only time he did Dallas/Frisco first is when Gexa threw a lot of money at him and he did not play in Frisco but in Dallas (2012 I think). he went on to play Austin and Houston after that. Generally speaking the North Texas show is after the South Texas show.
