Then he might be playing Gillette and that wasn't any great shakes either. GW still wins. :D

All your step sibling drama over, Mal?

 That's true.

It is *almost* done. We'll probably have one more outburst from them, and then I won't ever have to see them again. :D

And my mom was such an amazing woman, that she had a super-secret annuity account for my sisters and me for after my stepdad died that we didn't know about. Just a small gift, but her way of making sure that even if the estate went to sh!t after she died, we were still had a little something when my stepdad died.

I just do not get the move to football or baseball stadiums. I don't even think he could pack stadiums back in the day. And the sound is always crap. Who knows how the minds of TIIC work? :-?

So glad your drama is winding down. And props to your mom, she must have realized on some level and she planned accordingly. [smilie=coolup.gif]

Here in Detroit he's played the Baseball stadium, Comerica Park, the last 2 years putting in around 40,000 phans each time despite the sound & the distance from the cheap seats to the stage for viewing. I went 2 years ago but passed last year cuz I prefer the amphitheatre/arena settings. The one advantage we have here over Fenway is there is tailgating going on in the parking lots at the baseball stadium (although still not a fan of the stadium scene)...probably similar to when he played Gillette Stadium.

I agree. Stadiums are terrible for concerts. Maybe *once* for nostalgia, but even then, I find it hard to part with my money for a subpar show experience when the tickets are so overinflated in price.

My plan is to remain in denial until I am confronted with actual tour dates. If GW does not happen, we will probably follow the Ringers to whatever other venue with tailgate they choose to attend. B/c that's how we roll.

It could be any number of Tuesdays as well. It could be a Thursday in May. It could be the rumored weekend at Fenway. It could be that we have seen the last Saturday Buffett Great Woods tailgate ever. Thank the lordy it was a good one if that happens to be the case.

We have yet to cancel any of the 4 weekends in June that we booked at the RR. While we understand the 21st is out thanks to another show I'm afraid I will cancel the wrong weekend and then when Jimmy does announce a Saturday GW show we won't have a room
