This is my first Tampa Buffett show. What is the deal tailgating? When do the lots open? Any crazy rules on set ups or with alcohol or anything? I have met several people who say Tampa is the best (but we all have our favorites for whatever reason) so what makes Tampa so great?

Just cancelled two rooms at LaQuinta across the street from the venue if anyone's interested.

having never actually attended a concert in Tampa, (literally) last minute development shotgunned the idea, can say that the lot opens early. BN crew was near the trees in the NE corner of the lot, and about 60 folks from the crew here in attendance. access to cigars from Ybor, and at least one or two liquor stores along Dale Mawbry, and Whole Foods as well for beer.. nothing.. nothing at all.

Just released two hotel rooms at the Red Roof Inn across the street. If anyone wants 'em, snag 'em now. We now have our RV secured, so I hope these go to a good Parrothead in need!!!

Ok, so we have lucky number thirteen. Come find us. If you enter from 301 into the parking lot, make a right and we'll typically be in one of the islands. This year, we should be featuring a tiki bar with a prize wheel. On the wheel will be free beach balls, getting lei'd, free beer, funnel a beer, margarita down the liquor luge, mixed drink (margarita on the rocks and maybe tequila sunrise), straight tequila shots and margarita jello shots. Of course you may also see trivia questions, for the Buffett gurus - there will be some scorchers.

Hope to see you all at the luau. Down to just about twelve days!!! Finz up!

If you'll be in Tampa Friday evening with no plans, shoot me a PM for a potential gathering.

Otherwise see y'all in the lot at the normal spot (aerial image near the start of this thread) on Saturday.

There was a question about entertainment expenses, any assistance is certainly appreciated the day of show!
