Always a good sunset vibe at the tiki bar behind the BilMar on Treasure Island (the beach just north of St. Pete Beach) and at the Undertow on St Pete Beach. There's usually a good party at Jimmy B's behind the beachcomber on St. Pete Beach, as well.

how does the tailgating situation work? how early do we need to get there to get a decent spot?

May have been 2 years ago, we started gathering at the tree around 9, don't know about last year. I plan to be there around 10ish to find a spot. I'm driving in from Orlando Saturday morning.

Well, well, well....Look at all these lunatics. For those who don't know me, I'll keep it a surprise. I haven't been around these parts in a few years, shame really. Didn't mean I stopped going to shows though. This will be my hometown event, so all you folks better not disappoint. I'll be parking on the "Grass" all day Rain, snow, sleet or heat. I'm an old man now, so watch out for my walker, you can't miss my tennis balls.

The Mistress of Agave and I will be arriving from Boise on Thursday night. My liver has been given plenty of prior notice so he better not complain...never has yet.

Hey. This will be my 4th show. New to this board and new to the tailgating thing. Coming up from Miami that morning so I dont think I will be at the fairgrounds until about 4-5, is that too late? Was planning on walking around with a couple of bottles of tequila and taking in the scene. Would gladly like to stop around and share.

That's not always a good thing. In 09 I drank too much and missed the show in Tampa
But up until about 7:30 I was having the time of my life
