I have always thought Tampa is one of the best parking lots to roam around and make new friends at. Live Nation says they are opening the main parking lot at 11:00 am, we have a motorhome and a pretty decent party set up to share the fun with. I am wondering what time others are getting to the Lot, any bands coming or gatherings we could promote to add to the fun? Also, anyone hear any rumors of a Coral Reefers Warm-up show Thursday or Friday in the Tampa Bay area? FINS UP Tampa Bay!!!

Thanks for the link, I had looked through that thread and found a lot on who is traveling to Tampa, but not much on pre-show plans in the Parking Lot and the days before off-sight. Did I miss something?

and a couple of Trop Rock bands at Whiskey Joe's on Thursday and Friday.

The point of having a thread for each show is so anyone with questions about a particular show can go to that thread and ask their questions. If people started a new thread every time they had a question, there would be multiple threads for every show. This way, all the info is kept in one spot.

I got so drunk that I lost all judgement and starting mixing beer and liquor which has always did me in.
Every time that I turned around, you had a different and exotic liquor right there for me to try.
I just couldn't hang with the big dogs

I did not know that you missed it.

gona be a wild weekend. gota ride back to miami on sunday for the heat game.

I've never been able to set up shop around the BN crew, but I'm going to do it this year. What's the best way to get over there? Meet up and follow somebody in or just run over the parking attendants?

Last time I went the attendants were directing traffic, showing where to park, I just kept going and went to the tree.

Maybe we need a phone list of some sort so we can all find each other. I may try to find some poster board and put BN on it in big letters.

Somebody just needs to distribute some kind of vaguely official looking flyer and pass then it at the La Quinta for those of us find. Attendants get confused easily.

When we've seen folks arrive later in the day, it's a 50/50 shot how well they have gotten to the tailgate spot... including musicians who have shown up mid-day and had to walk the lot. Good news is that even if you had to walk, it won't be too bad, and you'll likely be relaxing the whole day once at the trees, so it's not like you'll need to hoof it back and forth.
