As of now 80% chance I get to come. Trying to plan hotel / tix with 3 others. Hopefully all works out today!
I want to go back to the island,
Where the shrimp boats tie up to the pilin'.

Can anybody recommend hotels nearby? I couldn't find what page I originally posted it on--Still debating a drive up Friday afternoon or crack of dawn Saturday

Probably around 9PM on Friday. Something like that. Might crash down on the Cape depending on who is around and what time I start drinking. Might not. Such hard decisions. I love being a first world kind of guy. :D
The poolside entertainment starts at 1pm. I imagine the Johns will be there much later.
I expect a 5 page paper on this party since I won't be there.
can we use toilet paper
Given how drunk you'll be, I guess I should expect a shitty report.
We are not getting there until Saturday morning now. I cancelled my room at the Red Roof Inn for Friday night. With work commitments I wouldn't have been able to arrive until after 9pm on Friday so rather that pay $110 to just sleep there I'll save the money and just sleep at home Friday night and do the 90 min drive Saturday morning and check into the hotel after the concert.

We'll be at Shaw's by 9:45am Saturday.

There's a Holiday Inn (Forbes Blvd I think but would need to check) in Mansfield, (for those who went to the New England Convention in 2013, that one), there is a Comfort Inn on Fisher Street (you can see it on 140), there is also a Residence Inn at that same light but you would need to take a left instead of the right to get to the Comfort Inn. Then there's the Red Roof Inn that BoR said but I don't know if it is sold out for Saturday night.
If you want an experience, go to a Jimmy Buffett concert.

Experience is something you don't get until just after you need it.

He said only for Friday night so there is a chance he (or she) would need to get another hotel room for Saturday night if RR.

And I do have a room still for fri-sun that I am going to cancel tomorrow. Go back a few pages for the details if anyone is interested.

buddy of mine bought a limo bus recently and we are struggling trying to figure out where to park it in Boston before the show on Saturday. Any ideas? We might just try the Walmart in Walpole, MA. I called them and they didn't say yes and they didn't say no.

:P
The parking lots at the venue will reportedly be open at 11am. There is a Shaws Supermaket plaza about 2 miles from the venue and there is also a Stop and Shop both are a lot closer then Walpole
