there is still a couple of section 1 out there .....one is row K , but it's seat 1 , near the wall
I'm in Sec 1 on the far outside aisle but I'm keeping it. Last year I didn't even make it down that far.

The stairs were too steep. Yeah, that's it, it was the stairs, they were too steep.

That's funny cause the stairs were really steep in section 6 too.

I think the better question might be when is Great Woods going to realize their folly of turning half the lawn into uncovered seating? People aren't dumb and what is the point for paying about 90 bucks more for a seat that is still uncovered? Contrary to popular belief a lot of folks still aren't exactly flush with cash in this "recovering" economy and simply won't pay that kind of coin for seats like that. If I recall correctly those seats were finally reduced to the same price as lawns just prior to the show last year.
It was too much tequila . . . . or not quite enough.

Well....there is something to be said for having even a uncovered "reserved" seat ....especially if a trip to the bathroom is needed during the show. But at the same price as the covered seating...........just plain stupid!

LiveNation now has their 'interactive seat map' available for this show. Much like last year they did not put tickets in section's 9 & 15 on-sale yet. Those are the far right and left sections of the open air pavilion seats. Last year these seats were put on sale later with the same price point as lawn seats. They have been doing this for a number of concerts at Great Woods the past few year's. I went to a non-Buffett show there last year and sections 9 & 15 were roped off for that show so they wait for the other seats to sell and if they don't these two sections never open up.

There are still a significant number of tickets available in every section except section 1-2-3. (a single seat remains in section 1).

Ace Ticket the largest ticket agency in Boston has Lawn tickets at $100 ea. They usually sell tickets for about $10-$15 more than the going rate on eBay and other StubHUB. This is the case again, lawn tickets on StubHUB are available now in the $85 range which is about $30 over face value.

For anyone who didn't get a lawn ticket I wouldn't worry. These remaining seats will be sold at lawn ticket prices eventually.

Where is this Great Woods? :P
If you want an experience, go to a Jimmy Buffett concert.

Experience is something you don't get until just after you need it.

Bubba, when did you play Upper Darby??

Spent much of my youth around there as that was where my mom's family was. Had a few relatives on the Upper Darby Police Department too. Dang now, you brought back some fine memories for me!! 8)
I saw him at the Tower in the summer of '77 twice, Once with a cast on his leg!

In the words of the immortal Bruce Lee, "Long term consistency trumps short term intensity."

Picasso once quipped, "The meaning of life is to find your gift. The purpose of life is to give it away."

Combined these two quotes for a perfect summation of what Great Woods Buffett is, was, will be, and be remembered as.

In short . . . we got this. :D

Still gotta kill that tree with my urine, though. That Bruce Lee quote works here as well.
the hit and run is as good as any religion around this time of year . . .
