Just saw this. Larry tried and found pre sale tickets have all been sold. Were they GA?

No they had some down close as well. They still had some around 4 today.. I bet you can still get good ones tomorrow.

Because there is a Houston show this year, Austin tickets may be easier to come by this year. I know we would much rather go to Houston over Austin as the venue is much better. We just can't swing a Thursday this year with a keet being born very soon. So Austin it is for us, but not by choice.

I was gonna make the Houston show but cant do a Thursday night so its Austin for me! How is the lawn seating there and the tailgating?

The lawn in Austin is terrible. It much smaller than the lawn at the Woodlands and it has no slope. However, they seem to put the same amount of people on it. The Woodlands is a simply a much better venue. We would much rather go to the Houston show ourselves, but have to do Austin because it is a Saturday.

Buyer beware on lawn tickets in Austin!

However, Austin does have plenty of room to tailgate.

Well I think I got shut out on the RV hookup spot. I looked last night and the camping was already open for sale......this happened sometime between 5PM and 10PM. When I checked then, there were all the other types of parking but the RV w/ hookups were not available. Tried again today after 10 and the same thing, guess we will go for a 'dry' camping spot.

Well, it looks like I might regret my lawn decision, but it's what works for us, finances-wise, due to a large group. I'd love to go to The Woodlands, due to everyone saying the venue rocks, but Thursday is just too hard, so there you go. I'm going to have fun regardless.

Bummer. I noticed RV stuff on sale when I got my tickets, but thought that was just presale weirdness.

We did the lawn seats there for ZBB and it was great. We just were lucky in our spot I guess, the venue is small so being on the lawn did not seem so far back. We were at the front of the lawn. We will certainly try to be there again! I assume further back the low/no slope comes into play.

Aww, thanks! I'm not too bummed, but was a bit sad to see all the negative comments on the venue here, so this helps. Thanks!

I shall try to just get in early enough to get a nice place for my blanket.

Where is everyone parking? I realize that RVs are different, but having never been to this venue before, I don't know if I should spring for prepaid parking or just wing it? Thoughts?
