Anyone ever sat on the lawn at Blossom? I never minded lawn seats in NC, but I've heard lawn seats are horrible in Cinci. I never understood why. [smilie=noeyedear-shrugging.gif]

Lawn seating is on an artificial surface, like astro turf. I am going by what I have been told by several pholks, but it apparently was HOT and uncomfortable in Cincinnati. Someone else may want to confirm this. Blossom is natural grass, very wide spread and open, not great for viewing, although video boards are ok, but the crowd on the lawn......that is where the party is.

All personal preference, but lawn at Blossom I have always enjoyed.

20 (and it may be closer to 25...) years ago Buffet played in a rain storm, and the lawn became a huge mudslide. Anyone remember that?

I got lucky. Ticketmaster crashed on me but five minutes in I used the Live Nation app and pulled up 12th row dead center!

That ticket purchase might make for number 5.

Yay! Pavilion seats :D (I'm old) Don't enjoy lawn. :P

I felt like I was in the BN critters cartoon. had about everything that could go wrong, go wrong. Lost a couple of good seats because the button for Purchase tickets just wouldn't go. Got told I only had a 9 minute wait and not to refresh. After 20 minutes I did refresh an then got the tickets that I lost due to not being able to get the purchase ticket button to work. Then ended up out of the whole system and had to wait forever to log back in to live nation. I was sure that by nearly noon, there wouldn't be anything left. They suggested I use "best available" and no tickets turned up. I tried again listing the pavilion and two came up right a way. Gracious, this was harder than work!

Never been to Blossom, though we've spent a lot of time in Cleveland since that is where Tom grew up.

Nope, it just means that if you plan to go, you will need to get tickets from the ticket exchange forum, when someone's friends or family decides they do not want to go....

It is a sign you are meant to share the love with others, and help a Phellow Parrothead out.......

We will have a pre party the night before, and the pool party the day of.

Hey Amo -Any word from Blossom on T-Gating?
