2014 - tuesday in august
Jimmy's tickets for Camden use to sell out in a few minutes
the last few years, you could still by tickets from TicketMaster the day before the show
we had heard rumors that he was going to change things up this year
really hoped for Citizen's Bank Park
he could have SOLD OUT in a few minutes
say what you want about the stadium seating/sound
but last year we saw Roger Waters the Wall and Bruce Springsteen there
and had a fantastic experience at both concerts
and as far as getting out of Linc/CBP shows
your ramps are straight shots only 3 or 4 blocks away for:
I76, I95, the Walt Whitman bridge
and the tailgating in Philly is pretty much hassle free
the Jetro lots are huge,
and we have never had a problem parking together as a group
plus you have several bars/restaurants including Xfinity live
all within walking distance
I would take Philly over Camden every time

Jimmy's tickets ...
...I would take Philly over Camden every time
I probably will be there,
but MK has already said that her and Joe are out
Andy is out, Sean is out, and a bunch of others
which means that there won't be any bus this year
which means that a lot of others will back out because there is no bus
your still going right, but late?
but my friends just call me RAGZ; so feel free.

We'll probably take the ferry over again around 2 or 3, I know Deb and Tom said they were going put later. We'll hook up with Jeannie and Doc I'm sure (if they let us), and by the $5 lawn seats at the front before the show. We are then heading up to JB on Thursday morning, you should come up.7vegas11 wrote:Seas in my veins wrote:Question is........will you be in Camden?7vegas11 wrote:2011 - thursday in june

My bus isn't going to happen either. We are in Northern NJ...
Any chance we can put our BuffettNews powers together and create a bus?! Where you guys coming from?

Mostly the surrounding Philly area on both side of the river PA/NJ. The bus would meet on the NJ side and have about a 10 min. drive into Camden.FinsUp6835 wrote:My bus isn't going to happen either. We are in Northern NJ...

Re: Philly, Citizens Bank Park
Last couple yearsthe parking for our 36 foot coach was north of $140, can't remember exact price but it was steep. Several yeArs ago it was just $60 for an oversized vehicle.tpspuck wrote:Does anyone know about RV Tailgating parking lots? Costs/locations/reserved in advance etc?
No reserved advanced parking that I'm aware of and they park you typically in the very back lot under the Ben Franklin bridge.
Three years ago the Camden police had the traffic so jacked up that there was a Congo line of us with large rvs going up and down side streets of Camden. No treat!

Re: Philly, Citizens Bank Park
Parking there is a disaster. They always say that the lots up close are full but a little creative navigation and you can come in from the other side and park right in front of the venue. It doesn't help that people will take up four or five parking spots for one car of four people.psw737 wrote:Last couple yearsthe parking for our 36 foot coach was north of $140, can't remember exact price but it was steep. Re: Philly, Citizens Bank Park
I doubt he will skip Philly but agree about Camden the past 6 years I haven't bought tickets and either paid at max $10 for a lawn seat or was handed free tickets at the gate.7vegas11 wrote:2011 - thursday in June in Camden

Jimmy has not played in NYC since 2009. Any love for MSG Jimmy. I would love to hear a home live show.

If he cuts back touring this year , I would guess, that could mean more stadium shows.FinsUp6835 wrote:Or, Camden stop will be cut.

Re: Philly, Citizens Bank Park
I might (or might not) be shot for saying this, but he could cut the Camden show and play Hershey again. I had a blast last year, granted, we had excellent seats, but parking was cheap(er), easy, no issues with tailgating, SAFE, etc.
