The last two times I've been to Jones Beach we have had no problem getting into a decent lot @ 1130. I can't speak to the number of the lot but it was in the same area of the Nikon, short walk to the bathrooms. if you guys want to change departure time I just need to know cus I have some people landing at JFK & 0730 i need to update, they will probably have to meet us there. I just need to park near someone with a grill, other than that I really am ok with whatever.

Will be heading to the lot by 6:30 am last year we got there at 730 and people were roping off space they won't use.. Hope to see you in the lot ROX after trip over the pond.. safe travels all...

Unlike GW, you can save spaces, but many of those big roped-off areas are for bands and DJs: LOUD and not always Buffett-y (one was RAP, last year). So not always a bad thing to have a little distance.

I'm having my free breakfast in the hotel. The weather report was just on tv, 80 degrees and a slight chance of a shower tomorrow. If it's anything like yesterday, it'll be a great day.
