Maybe I'll see both you and Lee on Saturday. Are you going early to the park or staying at the holiday inn until the official opening? We should be there around three or so either way.

I'm not really sure, David. A lot of people I know who normally go AREN'T going this year, so I'm guessing I won't know many people at all there this year. So I'll probably be wandering aimlessly throughout the day.
I'm meeting a friend in downtown Chicago for breakfast on Saturday morning. Other than that I'll be who knows where.

I think Matt was supposed to be going, so maybe we will stop over there. ( it seems a lot of people decided to go to Alpine instead )

I'll be at Alpine too, but, sadly, last year just a few people even bothered to show up, whereas in years past we would get quite the B.N. Who's Who crowd.

It's good to see at least some of my old Buffett friends will be there. Our plans are currently to start out at the Holiday Inn and then wonder over whenever. We may be a little late (we cannot check into our room until 2:00).

Hope to see you and others Saturday. We will be wondering around all day.

FYI: email from Live Nation just came through and says parking lots will open @ 2:00.

This is my first visit to the Chicago area show since moving back to IL from MA. I'm bringing two Buffett virgins with me. I'm also supposed to be the host for Duckett!!!! so I should be fairly easy to spot. Ken, I think you are the host tonight so let me know how we can make the transfer on Saturday. Also will have my BN Lanyard on. We have parking in the premier lot but will be wandering around looking for all the other BN phriends in the lot.

Based on what I've read about the guidelines, looks like no sand, live bands, or charcoal grills

Not sure how well they plan to enforce those rules though

We won't be there until a little later, like around 4:30-5:00 . So I don't know if we will see anyone there. But I have a phone with texting if anyone wants to hook up before the gates open.

The Holiday Inn Parkng lot is practiccally deserted. And there is a family reunion of some type going on here at the same time as the concert.
OH, to bring back the early & mid 1990's and even into the early 2000's.

Nice to meet you over there Gary. Sorry I missed you Lee. We went over to the bus lot, but were unable to find you there.

This will be my only concert this year. Barbara really enjoyed herself. Hopefully this isn't his last tour, but it sure feels that way.
