on a campsite option which sounds promising. They even have "Carefree Camping".
Interesting. I'm going to see if I can coordinate with that group.

We aren't able to hit this venue as we just bought tickets to Great Woods & Pittsburgh. But, here are 3 pictures of our 2010 visit to the Bethel Woods Performing Arts Center and "Woodstock". We aren't sure how exactly to explain the site but the actual concert venue is at the top of the hill - above my head in the second picture. If you are able to get through the museum you should take the opportunity. It is a self-guided tour (we spent 1.5 hours there) and the Woodstock exhibit is amazing.

Im surprized this concert is so quite.
thought it would have been sold out in minutes.
still plenty of seats left and from i hear its not a very big place.

The other "half a million strong" will show
up for free ......

We are going, possibly staying at the swan lake campground, we would love to meet up and stay near other parrotheads. Looks like we are hitting the mansfield show the weekend before as well. Should be a good week for us!!

Bump,this link has been very quite. Thought more peeps would be in to going to this show. How about some love for this show in the Hudson valley.

Hi Phriends, There will be a small pre-show party before the Bethel Woods Buffett Concert on July 17th. A group of us (50-60) are camping and have arranged for Homemade Wine to play during the day at the campground. We are pre-gaming at the campground the day of the show and not tailgating at BW and are treating this as a private house "tent” concert with a suggested donation for the band. We have limited additional parking at the campground so this is by invitation only with check in required. Keep in mind the campground is approximately 10 miles away from the Bethel Woods Arts Center.
