Just got billed and paid for my reserved VIP Gold Lot parking! OUCH! But I'm thrilled that we can just drive in the lot and go right to a good spot, set up the tailgate and get the party started. We have our whole crew just park in the cheaper spots around the stadium and then we all split the costs (including margarita's)...not to bad then.

Been a few times to Frisco and everytime has been easy parking in the lots to the east and North -- about 4 years ago it was free parking but the land owners have caught on Just a short walk across the street to mingle and drink. Or you can tailgate with folks nearby.

Are you doing the Gold Lot for the entire weekend or just showing up Saturday?
Just trying to figure out my plan for thsi year

Which do you think cost more? A 2 night stay (Fri and Sat of the JB Show) at the Comfort Suites right next to the stadium or a pre-paid 2 day parking spot for a camper?

We set up (at least part of it)as early as possible on Friday, stay the day and then come back in on Saturday morning. And yes I know that you can't come and go, so we all park in nearby free parking Friday morning and then either pile into one car (that we will leave in the spot overnight) or walk over to the lot. On Saturday morning we drive and park in the other 3 reserved spots.

I just noticed that John Fogerty is playing with Jimmy Buffett here. If that is true you are in for the show of a lifetime. I saw him a few years ago and it was amazing. Almost every song Fogerty sang was a big hit in it's time. He put on a very high energy show. Enjoy!

Thanks BG... Might have someone coming with me to the show so instead of crashing in an RV, I may need a room. Hard to find one right now.

Found a room a little cheaper than that. Not as close as I wanted it but it is a short hop on the tollway. I'll keep checking when it gets closer as people cancel when they can't make it.

Ok, I'll ask something...who is bringing a tiki bar to Frisco? What's it look like? Do you build it there or bring it on a trailer?

We are bringing our "Freaki Tiki" bar!
After attending the 2012 concert at Gexa (our first!!) I told my husband I HAD to have a mobile tiki bar!! So we came home and he got right on it!! The Freaki Tiki Mobile Bar made it's debut the next year at Frisco!! It's made from PVC And we will be constructing it there!

I believe "Planosmith1" that you were across from us at the Dallas concert and your bar was our inspiration!!! It was so amazing I just had to have one too!! Lol

Our Pirate crew will have at least two bars up and running on Friday morning!!! Our portable cedar bars fit together in less than 2 minutes and can withstand strong wind as proven last year during the mighty winds of friday at Frisco. You can see them here and I can give lots of details on how we build them......

Just go below where you type your messages and you will see 'Upload attachment', click 'browse' and locate your picture that you want to add and then click 'Add the file'. At that point you should click on 'Preview' to see how it will look (don't put to large a picture, I believe there is a limit...but don't know what it is). If it looks ok, then click 'Submit'. Any text you type should appear below the picture.
