I've stayed here & walked to the stadium for Springsteen, it's south of the stadium & most traffic heads north toward I81, so it's easier getting out.. I live about an hour away so I'll be driving & using my van to tailgate.

No hurricane would be the deal breaker on my end. Tailgates tend to get boring without the threat of hurricanes. Hurricanes and pink umbrellas. And boobs. But mostly hurricanes.

Was concerned myself with the tailgating. Our club was considering chartering a bus, but if there is not tailgating its a deal breaker.

I know Salt cubed posted in another thread about her reson why no official announcement yet--which was they are maybe trying to work out the tailgating logistics.

Maybe they will alow some things. Maybe they are waiting for the big memorial day kickoff on Radio Margaritaville to drop more dates. Or are they working on a cross promotion with the park where you buy a ticket bundle for the show get a deeply discounted day pass to the park.

I tried to do a google search on tailgating at Hershey. It wasnt an extensive one. Mostly mixed reviews from DMB fans. Some saying it was allowed but dont flaunt it like we tend to do i.e. shot luges full blown bars etc.. others saying that the cops were out in full force.

I will be at Springsteen this coming Wed. Ill check the lots and see if there is anything going on. I have never tailgated here for a show. We live nearby so we park off property and walk into stadium via a lot used for employee parking so we dont see the main lots too much.

We are thinking that's it.

Heres a link to some hotels in the area. Also I believe there is supposeto be a new Hampton Inn opening this summer on Rt 39 (hershey rd.) Ill check out what it is this week.

I may wind up passing on this, it's the week after JB @ Jones Beach and it would mean another trip north.

It's going to be a traffic nightmare. They have a lot of stuff crammed into that section of hershey, plus the park will be crowded. Even if we didn't have the baby, I'd pass

Listen i can defend my self. First of all there was rum in it. Secondly it wasnt pink it was dark purple. We eere having drinks at Derby Day.
