Is the Days In at the intersection of Chocolate Dr. & Hershey Highway?Carolinadreamin' wrote:Larry....that camping sh*t is not my thing either. My idea of camping is the Red Roof in Mansfield......![]()

We have reservations at the Days Inn on Chocolate Dr and the Best Western on Route 422 And Sipe.....couldn't decide but I'm leaning towards the Days Inn as it's closer.
Yeah that's the one!Poconomon wrote:Larry,

I just booked it today, less than 1/2 from the stadium, easy walk plus they run a shuttle if someone needs it.

patiently waiting. . . . . . hotel is booked. . . . . . might switch it to campground
Watching here, too. I wonder if the tailgating issue is holding up an 'official' official announcement.Saltx3 wrote:keep posted on the tailgate/lackthereof....not sure how this is going to pan out
No hurricane would be the deal breaker on my end. Tailgates tend to get boring without the threat of hurricanes. Hurricanes and pink umbrellas. And boobs. But mostly hurricanes.SchoolGirlHeart wrote:Watching here, too. No tailgating could be a deal-breaker for me. Part of it all is seeing friends. Haven't been to Jiffy Lube since (real) tailgating died.....
We are thinking that's it.SchoolGirlHeart wrote:Watching here, too. I wonder if the tailgating issue is holding up an 'official' official announcement.Saltx3 wrote:keep posted on the tailgate/lackthereof....not sure how this is going to pan out

I hate to sound like her hubby PaParrot but I agree with her.
Maybe they will alow some things. Maybe they are waiting for the big memorial day kickoff on Radio Margaritaville to drop more dates. Or are they working on a cross promotion with the park where you buy a ticket bundle for the show get a deeply discounted day pass to the park.
I tried to do a google search on tailgating at Hershey. It wasnt an extensive one. Mostly mixed reviews from DMB fans. Some saying it was allowed but dont flaunt it like we tend to do i.e. shot luges full blown bars etc.. others saying that the cops were out in full force.
I will be at Springsteen this coming Wed. Ill check the lots and see if there is anything going on. I have never tailgated here for a show. We live nearby so we park off property and walk into stadium via a lot used for employee parking so we dont see the main lots too much.
