I'm in! Just got floor seats (which now seem to be sold out), Floor F, Row C, so not as good as I wanted, but not bad. Already have a room at the Flamingo and plane tickets, so we are ready to go. Fins Up.

Jimmy Groovy is IN!! Will be getting in Thursday -group of 5 of us... Last Man Standing Friday at Tommy Rocker's and then the EPIC pre-party at the pool again all day Saturday!

We won't be getting in until late Thursday / early Friday morning.

We were planning to hit up Margaritaville on Friday night.

The pool party last year was 100% better than the year before- now its at the much larger Go Pool - drinks are $$ - but we manage to sneak in some of our own (shhhh) Tommy Rocker plays (mostly JB music) all day and the vibe is awesome!

We are staying at MGM Grand, so we have a cabana rented there ...

We are going to skip the Flamingo !

Still looking for someone to split the cabana with us ....

Hey K2125girl- just re-read this thread.. Is there an "official" pre-party at the MGM Pool this year w/band etc?? When he first started playing Vegas the pre-party there was EPIC! But seemed to have moved to Margaritaville alley and now the pool at Flamingo... We're always looking for options

I'm not sure if its an official party ! But that's where we decided to party --- cabana rented and they have an awesome pool scene. I assume with the concert there it will be good !

I haven't heard where the happenings were ....

The only JB show I've seen was in Vegas at MGM in 2012 (I know, I'm ashamed I haven't seen him more often). I was in section 17 back then.
This October 18, I'll be back in Vegas (special trip to see the show). I'll be ON THE FLOOR!
New pair of trunks (open-mouthed shark), a Margaritaville T, and flip flops. (I do own a Parrothead shirt, but this new outfit looks cooler)
I hope SECTION D on THE FLOOR doesn't disappoint me.
I've been a JB fan since 1984. You mention one of his songs, and it's probably on my phone
I'm definitely up for a party the day of the show---am staying at New York-New York.

Tommy Rocker plays the pool at the Flamingo all day, its a big area, last yr it started about 11am and it was a good time.. There are cabanas you can rent, drinks are pricey... Tons of parrotheads just cruising around... Buffett's film crew was there

I will be there the next weekend for sure. rumor is Phil Lesh and Friends will play the weekend of the 17th at the Brooklyn Bowl, so I may come two weeks in a row. I would like to participate in the meet ups with fellow BNers both weekends...
