I have been going to concerts for the past 10 years. I use to always love at the begining of every concert right before Jimmy came out he would play Feeling Hot Hot Hot. I was wondering why in recent concerts the last year he is no longer doing this. Any information would be greatly appreciated.

The song that was played was a recording of the song by Buster Poindexter, my best guess is that Jimmy decided to rest it and try different openings for his shows

Also by doing other songs for the opening, he is using the large video display behind the stage to show parking lot stuff, mermaids, etc. Stuff that would not have worked under Hot Hot Hot.

I know a lot of people on the board didn't like that pre-recorded song but I have always loved it and thought it was a great segue into the concert.

He didn't have the guys with the basketball hoop or the T-shirt Cannon this year either. Not a big deal but I did notice the absence

I enjoyed the new intro and how it tied into the tour theme. Hot Hot Hot was always fun, but did start getting old to me. Switching it up was overdue IMO.
