Landfall.

Edit to add that it's the live version from 'You Had To Be There'.

Maybe he changes it live but on the studio version it's "Lucille Ball". Funny how I must have listened to the song millions of times before but I've never picked up on that.

Yep, the You Had To Be There version (and other live versions). In the studio recording, Jimmy says Lucille Ball.

Funny that after all these years, we still find new wrinkles.
Rest in Peace, Lauren Bacall. (and Lucille Ball)

Probably because I've always cranked up both the studio and live versions so loud that I wasn't paying any attention to the lyrics at all.

My God what a great actress. One of my favorites. I have the box set of the 4 movies she and Humphrey Bogart did together. What a great way to spend a rainy winter day in front of a fire.

I'll share a little info as a fan.

Her real name was Betty Perske. She met Bogie on the set of her first movie, To Have and Have Not. Before that she was a model and had done some stage acting. Anyway it was love at first sight. She was 25 years younger than Bogie. It didn't take long for Bogie's marriage to fail after that. I always get a kick out of Lauren lighting cigarettes and throwing the match over her shoulder no matter where she is: hotel, bar, it didn't matter. After Bogie died she married Jason Robards. Ever notice that Jason looked kinda like Bogie?

Jimmy mentions the movie in A Pirate Looks at Fifty. He also mentions another Bogie and Bacall movie in the book, Key Largo.

OK, sorry if I've bored you to tears.
