No concert since 2011 :-( (UPDATE 2/20/15)

It hit me today that tour dates for this year are almost over and.... AGAIN.... I failed to get to a show. Haven't been since 2011...

I know this is not tragedy on any scale, and I know some here have actually stopped going to shows anyway. Not making it to a show, however, really is a bummer to me. I love the parking lot, the crowd, the energy in the show, buying overpriced t-shirts, and hearing 20,000 people singing along to the songs we all know. It's a night of letting go, and in my life, there aren't many chances for that.

Anyway.... thanks for stopping by my pity party. I appreciate the time you took to look at this thread. See you next year, I hope...

Well that's sad. Is it an issue of funds, location, conflicting schedule?

Well.... I'm very fortunate that funds aren't the issue. Boils down to schedule and locations, and a lack of enthusiasm from my significant other. She goes to the shows, but obviously doesn't enjoy it as much as I do. If she did, we'd find a way. Oh well.

Next year, it has to happen... been too long already.

Mr. Lime isn't a fan of the music, the tailgate...none of it. He came to GW with me once. It was a disaster. Never again. So GW is my thing, I go alone and hang with Dave, Barb, Tig, my harem sisters, and the rest of the GW gang. Mr. Lime has Laconia Bike week and other Harley stuff, although I do go to that with him sometimes and manage to have fun. It works.
