That would be 60 + songs most of which did not appear on the prior year's set list (or 2012 or 2011, etc).

:D

Considerably different! Not the same show. Yes, lots of covers (about 30 + percent of all songs throughout the tour). Not many bands, however, perform 60 + songs over a tour. Considering, again, that Jimmy is basically the only performer of notable fame that tours annually this is massively significant. Much change on an annual basis.

Thanks for posting.

Makes me wish I had caught one of last year's shows, even if I had to go into hock to do it.
Also makes me determined to catch a show in 2015.  Look for me at Alpine Valley.
(unless I start doing better at "pick 6 out of 49 numbers" and come into a shipload of money)

To quote JB from You Had to Be There:

"a lot of people come and they want to hear one song, it's kind of planted in their mind, no matter what song it is, they're waiting for that one song and they go
"I DON'T WANT TO HEAR THAT #### IN THE MIDDLE OF THAT ALBUM, I'M WAITING FOR THAT ONE SONG, NOW WHEN YOU GONNA PLAY IT"......well this is not your 8 track, we've got about 9 million albums and many songs, so we can only play them one at a time".

So is, "I drink to make other people more interesting." Hemingway said that. Smart man. There is little relevance to this thread other than some six degrees from Captain Tony link. But I am far too drunk to think about that. Where is Midnight in Paris when I need it?

Funny, and sad, that Jimmy has had to listen to this sort of whining for such a long time.

I'm not going to knock anyone for enjoying the show last time around, but I'm also not going to "defend" a set list that included 2 Zac Brown covers. It that's whining, so be it.

One Zac Brown song is too many, 2 is ridiculous. I don't understand Buffett's man crush on the guy. [smilie=noeyedear-shrugging.gif]

No, ma'am.

Just wanted to see a positive thread on BN for the first time since before 5 O'Clock Somewhere became a thing. :D

The first couple time I heard him cover "Toes" and "Where the Boat Leaves From" I enjoyed it. But enough is enough. Just like in Hershey when he played Alan Jackson's "Five Oclock Somewhere"less than an hour after we heard it from Alan himself.

And add my name to the list of "I couldn't care less if you want to call it whining."
Only reason I "whine" is because Jimmy has SOmany great songs that we've never heard live that I would love to.

This is all opinion....

Personally I really like Big Rig and A Lot To Drink About. And Too Drunk To Karaoke is fun in concert (not that I think it should make it every night in the setlist). The other ones you listed, I agree, are not his best.
