HL&N do have a lot of great rockin' songs. Great Harmonies and horn section, it would be cool to see them do 1 song together. Just 1 though.

Last year at the Frisco show, Buffett came out during Forgerty's set and did Down On The Corner with him. I was hoping Fogerty might come out and do a song with Buffett but he didn't. If Buffett did a song with Huey Lewis, I wouldn't mind. Plus, doesn't Huey play harmonica? I can see him coming out and playing with Buffett and the Reefers. Wouldn't bother me at all. I'd rather hear that than 2 Zac Brown songs like we got at just about every show last year. The man crush that Buffett has on Zac Brown rivals Jon and Jason Varitek and is just as puzzling.

I just looked at the setlist thread from last year's Frisco show when John Fogerty was the opening act. He did 17 songs.

If Huey Lewis plays for an hour that will allow about 13-14 songs. He won't be doing any encores. If Huey Lewis wraps up at 8 that will give a 15-20 min break before Buffett comes on at his usually 8:15-ish start time. Mansfield town laws required all shows to end no later than 11pm.

I don't think the 11 o'clock law will even be an issue. Since Jimmy did away with intermissions during his shows a few years ago now he's been ending well before 11.

By Buffettnews standards only like 15 people would qualify for the premium seats. Sadly, this would result in Jimmy raising the price of tickets to some ridiculous level. Like 150$ - 160$ per seat just to break even. Can't let that happen. Yes, Parrotheads, you do need money to ride this train.
