I was able to get in quicker than normal. However, took about 100 refreshes to actually get lawn seats. Also since when have they shown resale tickets on the site?

I didn't see it on the website, but I did see it on the app. I guess scalpers were busy the day of the presale last week.

All kidding aside I just a pulled a singe Section 2 in row y (seat 23).

based on other resale tickets this could go for 600$ + which is absurd but that is what they are listed at.

Crazy.

Keep hitting refresh for singles. Good seats still there.
the hit and run is as good as any religion around this time of year . . .

First of the month for me, and too many reports that need to get done at the day job.

No need to rush and pay scalper/eBay prices for lawn tickets. Just like last year open-air pavilion sections 9 & 15 never went on-sale today. As it gets closer to August they will release those tickets for lawn prices. They did this last year and in 2013 & 2012 they cut the prices on all the open air pavilion tickets that were not sold in the weeks leading up to the show.

Remember when the Red Sox signed Keith Foulke to close out games which ultimately lead to a World Series. After 2003 this was a huge signing and it worked. Jimmy Buffett is using the same mind set with Huey Lewis. Will the results be as effective as the 2004 Red Sox? Only time will tell.

But yeah, don't worry about tix. There will be plenty available at face value or less.

The option to select your own seat from a map is now active. A lot of open air seats left and section 9 & 15 unsold. Still amazing that a seat in the last row of setion 14 cost as much as a seat in the first row of section 2.

Yup. BS. The first year of open air there was a three tiered price setup - under cover, not under cover, lawn - but not since.

It's a money grab and a way to tap into the fear of past year's when this concert sold out in minutes. Many people still think this is the case. They know some people will panic and buy what they can then after a few months when tickets remaining unsold they have a sell off. It's actually a good business model just very sketchy.

I'm in Sec 2 Row W, I would have thrown it back and kept trying but one of my co-workers was p*** that she had to handle something for 10 minutes even though our boss OK'd me taking the time to go online. Like she never wastes time bullshitting with people.

I may have to go out in the yard and kiss the snow. Last night's few inches of snow canceled my 10:00AM meeting this morning
