What is going on??????

First the Atlanta Parothead Club site hasn't been updated since May 2014 ... what's up there? Are the done?..
PHIP top 20 Clubs by membership and Atlanta is no where to be seen Club # 20 has just over 200 members. It should be that hard for a city like Atlanta to meet that.

Oh well..... As the saying goes..... You can never go home again It will never be the same as Lakewood back in the 90s..... Crazy times.

I hate to say it but this will probably be my last Hot'lanta show.... I guess I'll start focusing on Tampa.... maybe DALLAS??? or back to Greatwoods??? or somewhere new...say the Left Coast?

Tailgating Policies: Jimmy Buffett


Tailgating will be allowed on Gwinnett Center’s property from June 2 at 10AM thru June 3 at 1AM.
NO overnight parking will be allowed on June 1 or June 3.
The parking deck will be off limits to all early parking/ tailgating.
Gwinnett Center will provide extra trash receptacles and a limited number of Port-A-Potties. No restroom facilities will be accessible inside the venue except during show time for ticketed patrons only.
Tailgaters will be asked to break down any tailgating structures blocking additional parking spaces at 6PM. This includes but is not limited to tents, tables, chairs, grills, etc.
Parking is limited, so we ask you to be respectful of the other concert goers when setting up your tailgating area. Please listen to the directions of our parking and security staff members.
Absolutely no parking is allowed on adjacent roadways or parking lots. Any illegal or unauthorized parking on property that does not belong to Gwinnett Center will be handled by the owner of the property and is subject to fines and/or towing.
No charcoal grills, however, propane grills are allowed.
No dumping of sand in the parking lots.
Gwinnett Center will NOT provide utility hook-ups.
No dumping of waste tanks on Gwinnett Center’s property.
For safety reasons, once a vehicle is parked in a tailgating zone, it cannot leave the area until after 6PM.
There should be an authorized driver present at all times, except during show times.

Jimmy Buffett is coming to Gwinnett Arena June 2nd and Sugarloaf is throwing down! Rock 100.5 and Kicks 101.5 will be broadcasting live from 3-7pm and they will be giving away last minute tickets to the show! Pre-game AND post-game with us, we will have live music and we will be staying open late for you party on after the concert. We'll be there, just haven't been as excited for some reason. Yeah, really miss Lakewood, a tailgate there is like regular folk where as this one seems to be more top shelf. I mean the parking lot is paved for goodness sakes! No creek to wiz in! I may have to use a glass instead of swigging out of a can. The ATL Parrothead club area is ten bucks, they'll have a band, port-a-hoopties, bring your own bev, they'll have grills so you can cook. This weekend I think I'll try and get in gear and get my stuff together, maybe hit the dollar store or similar to find more tropical do-dads. Guess it'll just be me and the wife this year but we always make friends.

Oh, and right now it looks like a chance of rain. Maybe indoors WAS a good idea......

Yep... I thought I heard that too.... but the Area's Tropical Tailgate Parts says "If you don't have tickets to the show, that's ok!"

Which is good. I don't have a ticket in hand. They're at will call.

I'm slowly working my way up for it.

well looking at the google aerials it looks like there maybe a creek in the treeline on the westside of the property behind the arena if you need.
