. . hey, there . .
. . typical trauma in the BG world this mornin . .
. . good news first . . I woke up to find 6 new babies in my aquarium from one of my black mollies . .
. . they are abot the size of this /
. . then noticed my rather large angel fishes that thought they looked like a treat . .
. . began to pull plants and build babies and watchful Mom a fort/lagoon as protection . .
. . angel fish persisted and I soon put them in a self-made time-out room . . . ( a plastic colander that kept them in , but the babies could certainly penetrate and swim into a certain death trap . . )
. . those lil fellas are like trying to herd a bunch of cats . . on a much smaller scale . .
. .

. . such is my life . . . being mother to a bunch of water babies . . .
. .

Hi Penny.I did 11 caricatures of seniors on the local swim team.In a former life,I made good money at colleges and business parties, drawing 8 to 10 people an hour. These were fast, fun and sloppy simple cartoons. Now,I only work a handful of commissioned jobs in ink.I drew a few at my first JB concert, but realized alcohol and bad eyesight made for poor drawing. If I can HOLD a brush,I can paint.

Man, I wish I could draw. Or paint. Or even take a non-blurry photo. I don't have an artistic bone in my body.
My boss is asleep. In his desk chair, with his head tipped back and his mouth wide open. Some of my coworkers are working on getting up the guts to see if they can toss popcorn into his mouth. My motivation to work on this dreary, rainy Monday just went negative. 7 months, 3 weeks & 5 days until MOTM 2015.....but who's counting?

Our office manager also took a photo, printed it off and taped it to his door, right above his nameplate.

I don't always love my job, but I love my office.
For our birthdays, we get to pick out a "treat." I always get a boston cream pie. Boring people get bagels. This same boss requested margaritas with chips and salsa for his birthday. So our office manager makes margaritas. He tastes them. Says they need more tequila, so sends the office manager back to the liquor store for another bottle of tequila. Long story short, we were all HAMMERED by about noon. Boss paid for uber to get us all home safely.
