Thanks for the shout out John! Hope you enjoyed the show. Wasn't able to listen in. Always in the back of my mind to roadtrip over there but had plans to be Up in the North Woods of Michigan this past weekend. Like the "twist" in the show opener & the closer. Also Huey joining in the Fins was definitely a treat!
Now is it a done deal that this is Alpine"s last season as a concert venue?

Ken... I hope you enjoyed your northern MI weekend! I'm guessing there was a little fishing and/or boating involved?
It may sound cliché, but this may have been the best JB concert I've ever been to! You mentioned the twists in the opening & closing songs. The last time I saw Huey Lewis was back in the late eighties and boy, can he can still ROCK! The parking lot party was a blast as usual and we met lots of fun/interesting people. We had AMAZING seats and everyone around us was having a good time. All in all, it made for an excellent concert experience and I really hope this isn't the final year for Alpine Valley (fingers crossed).
Now it's time to get back to work/reality

Oh, how I miss AV. That's still my favorite JB concert venue of all time, mainly because the tailgating scene is usually totally out of control and the security basically lets you do whatever the hell you want as long as no one gets seriously injured.
When I lived in Chicago, AV was one of my favorite summer weekends, but now that I live in the south, gonna have to hit the FL leg of the tours in the Spring.
