And monkeys. And ducks.

But that's where they draw the line.
Typical. Discrimination at its worst. What about us rabbitz? We're much cuddlier than monkeys.[/quote]

I don't think the monkey is all that cuddly. :o The duck likes to cuddle.

I believe rabbitz would be welcome.

Mate, If I had a backyard bar like that - wouldn't ever be inside. As long as the snow didn't physically stop me getting to the bar I would be doing my tropical dreaming from right there.

That is way cool 8)

Where are you? Just for next time we make it over the ditch :)
Southeast Pennsylvania (a bit north of Philadelphia). And if you ever have the good fortune (or misfortune, as the case may be) to be in this vicinity, you're more than welcome to drop by Intemperance Island. Food and drinks are free, no dress code and we're not picky about the patrons --- some of our best friends are degenerates.
Just don't get your fingers too close to the chimp's mouth. :o

The stools make the place, Bits. 8)

And I am referring to the barstools. It's a special crowd when you need to make that sort of clarification.

If it fits into your schedule, you'll have to make a side trip to Intemperance Island. :D

Actually Bits, as we (thankfully) never get snow, it kinda appeals to be sitting next a stand heater, drinking a boat drink, in a Tiki Bar of that quality - all the while watching the snowflakes gently settling.

The dreams of the tropics would be quite surreal...

Even with the heater, freezing your arse is still likely.
I think I'll stay inside where it's warm.

Bits, I'm jealous of your setup, but not the snow. We had a gorgeous day in Kansas City, sunny and high 60s. Spent all day at the zoo, then dinner with my parents and sister, then a trip to the hotel pool....I'm exhausted! I'm enjoying myself, but I'm already ready to be back in my own bed.

How did the kiddies hold up?

Surprisingly well! Ava, my five year old, doesn't really get zoos. Walking around looking at animals doesn't interest her much, so she was "bored" about five minutes into the day. John, my three year old, wanted to see everything, go everywhere. He also could have ridden the zoo train all day long.

They insisted they weren't tired at all when I put them to bed tonight, but I never heard a peep out of then after I turned out the light.
