LIPH wrote:Good morning. It's another dreary, overcast day. It's been raining on and off all morning and the forecast is for rain all day. I guess I'll relax until the coffee pot's empty, then think of something to do inside.
Always nice to see you around here, Don. Sounds like retirement agrees with you.pair8head wrote:Hello again. Sorry about yesterday, starting the thread then disappearing I didn't mean to do that things just went weird for me.
I've been spending a little time playing with a toy I got two Christmases ago. An Ion profile pro turn table to turn my vinyl records into
digital form. Finally got my office set up well enough to set it up and I'm busy recording some old favorites into the computer with the intention
of burning a few discs for myself. Having fun now with that and of course time in the wood shop. I also want to thank all of you (you know who you are) for the wonderful outpouring of support you have been showing lately. It warms my heart like you wouldn't believe.
I agree with Nan! The more the merrier! Hope you will be joining us for concert season, listening and chatting!lime rickie wrote:Always nice to see you around here, Don. Kinda wish it were raining here. It's tough to be cooped up in an office when it's sunny and in the 70s. Really tempting to grab my book and run down to the river to have a beer for lunch.LIPH wrote:Good morning. It's another dreary, overcast day. How's the sound quality after converting vinyl to digital? I was tempted to get one of those turntables when they first came out a few years ago (I forget who made them back then) but they were pretty expensive. After reading some reviews of the early models online I decided to hold on to my money.pair8head wrote:Hello again. Not bad at all. I've only done three albums so far and am doing a double album now. Lynyrd Skynyrd One more for (from) the road.LIPH wrote:How's the sound quality after converting vinyl to digital?
