The weather people are talking about severe thunderstorms this afternoon, which always gets my blood pumping. I love hot weather, cold weather, stormy weather and sunny weather-- I just can't stand long stretches of sameness. So I love the spring, when it seems like every morning, the weather just gets drawn out of a hat. I joke that I get Seasonal Affective Disorder in the summer when we have weeks upon weeks of the same weather every day-- sunny and hot, sunny and hot, sunny and hot, repeat ad nauseam. Exhausting.
My boss is still not back from Mexico. He was supposed to be back Monday. If I didn't have a report due Friday, I'd be playing hooky today for sure.
Trust me, I get it. The sweet spot for most things lies somewhere between moderation and excess.balcony girls wrote:. .mornin, crezzy girl ! !orangebowlqueen wrote:Good morning, good morning, everyone!

. . yep . . I live in FL, and none of my buds understand when I say "I'm so weary of the same-o same-o . . sunny and green, sunny and green . . . " sometimes I scream " AT LEAST GIVE ME A CLOUD . . . ." . . . they only snarl at me . .
. . kinda like eating ice cream every meal - it will finally get old . .

Also, just found out that our office manager is moving to FL. This is sad news for me, good news for any wine bars in and around the Dunedin, FL area.
I've already told her she needs a guest room! Especially if she gets her husband to pony up the cash for something on the water!!balcony girls wrote:. . oh, wow . . that's just up the road from me . . ! !orangebowlqueen wrote: Trust me, I get it. Hah. She and I have joked that if we actually ever spent any significant amount of time (longer than about 15 minutes?) cohabitating, we'd probably kill each other. I think it'd make for a barely-watchable sitcom. Maybe it'd give me material to write that book I always say I'm going to finish but never actually do.balcony girls wrote:. . just stop by the Dollar Tree and grab an air mattress . . problem solved . . ! !orangebowlqueen wrote: I've already told her she needs a guest room!
