Hi Ho Parrotheads!!!

I hope everyone had a fintastic Easter, and had far too many chocolate margaritas (If there is no such thing I am claiming to have invented it).

Well I am one exhausted rabbit.

Delivered all those eggs, and I have spent the last couple of week as the "Sydney Royal Easter Show". Kind of like the grand final of all the local agricultural shows throughout the state. I imagine it is like a "state fair" (but I have never seen one of those).

Week one was helping out at the beef cattle part of the show - we got a Grand Champion Parader and a bunch of medals including a gold in the Fine Food Carcass competition (i.e. the steers are judged as animals then as meat).

This last week I have been (horse) strapping for some friends, they're 9, 13 and 14 years old and giving it a red hot go. Only one ribbon so far but I think they've had fun. We are simply all just exhausted. Making horses pretty is hard work it turns out!!

Thankfully today is the last day.

I've had chocolate martinis but not chocolate margaritas. Chocolate and tequila, sounds like a win/win situation to me.

Good morning. I guess I didn't win the concert tickets in the radio station contest. They were giving them away on the morning show, which ends at 10:00, and they didn't call me. Looks like I won't be at the House of Blues Friday night.

I wasn't up early, that was last night after I got back from my sister's house. I'm retired and I'm not a perky morning person, there's no reason for me to get up early anymore.

We have a BEAUTIFUL day here in south-central PA. And, of course I'm back to work and stuck inside. At least I was able to get out and take a walk over lunch time but the rains are headed our way -- for the whole freekin' rest of the week

On a lighter note - we are both feeling half-human today from the cold crap that attacked us last week.

Wow! I feel like I've been gone for days!! I just can't bring myself to get online much on the weekends-- I get way too much of that at work.

My baby girl is turning 6 on Thursday-- where, oh where has the time gone???

Got my campsite booked for the MoKsArOk Parrothead Float Trip in Tahlequah, and the Tulsa Parrothead Club has their annual Bowl For Kids' Sake fundraiser this weekend (although I'm too lazy to fundraise, I always end up pledging money to myself the day before the event). Gotta be careful, or I'll end up with a social life!!
