Contrary to popular opinion, I don't go to Hooters that often. There are 2 of them here, one in Myrtle Beach and one in North Myrtle Beach. I went to the one in Myrtle Beach today, I hadn't been there since before Christmas. I've been to the one in North Myrtle Beach twice this year.

OK -- so here's my stupid criminal of the year (so far) story.

Man and wife have drug charges.

Man has a criminal history so he decides to be sentenced first at 11:00 today.

His wife's sentence will be reduced based on which charges her dear husband pleads guilty. Her sentencing is scheduled for 11:30 today.

At 9:00 Wife's attorney comes in -- says she is having a miscarriage. Can we sentence Husband today and Wife on Monday when she's feeling better....sure, no problem says the Judge.

Judge goes into courtroom to begin sentencing Husband and guess who is sitting in the back of the courtroom ????

I might have to go to Hooters again tomorrow. I just got an email from the Eclub, they're having a promotion tomorrow in honor of tax day. End the IRS - I'm Really Starving - all you can eat wings.

I learned, just from the one semester I interned in the DA's office when I was in law school, that most criminals have not been blessed with an overabundance of brain power.
