Its ridiculous that I can't pay slightly more to upgrade seats when they are dumping them for cheaper than what I paid for.

Exactly. It's BS.

We settled for GA this year but couldn't pass up for row 4 under $100 through Stub Hub. If anyone does the same they're running a promo for 10% off if you use 'JUNE10'.

Bottom line, the $149 face value is killing them. Demand itself hadn't changed, but they out priced the demand excessively. Detroit sells and always has. But asking way too much for bad seats at huge venues.

Walked through the area on Sunday afternoon and didn't see any. Are they more of a nighttime thing? If so, they might be a problem for Jimmy and the band under the lights, not so much for the audience.

They do like lights. But in the peak it's an all day annoyance!

Three days until the big show. Thought I would give an update so people know how I can be found as I would like to meet ALL of you that will be there. I am planning to be in the lot at the venue. I am getting there early. Look for a blue EZ up with a Fin Land flag on one side and the Canadian flag on the other. I will have other signs and a Toronto Maple Reefer t-shirt hanging as well.

I will have to share:

Margaritas, Hurricanes, LandShark Lager, Jell-o Shots, and for you early risers, the Canadian breakfast tradition, Bloody Caesers!

Also will have beads and other surprises for the ladies.

Mayflies hatch out of the lake during lowlight hours. Just after sunset to 11pm is usually peak. Today around 3 when the storms started to move in , it got dark and they went crazy, exploded out of the lake. It could be crazy thursday night, good thing is they are annoying but thats about it.

I hope the bastards stay away!!! Hate them!!!!!

I hope everyone has tons of phun! This will be my first missed concert in the D since 1987. I just can't get hyped up about the venue which is sad. I think we will BBQ cheese burgers at home with the keets and then watch on Margaritavision. Sucks to get old I guess, but I miss the Pine Knob days and am just not up to trying out one more place.

I will look for people I know and point you out to my kids who will probably be beyond bored by the third song....

It has to be better than Comerica.
