It is Michigan. Check the weather 10 minutes before concert time and it should be about 65% accurate.....

100% chance of rain. :o You don't see that very often.

I don't mind some rain at 80 degrees, but when the high is predicted to be 70 that could be pretty damp and chilly. :-?

Yeah our costumes are tanks and tutus....and most of previous stuff is also for the ridiculous temps we've had lately on concert day (who remembers the 105 degree show?)

But 69 and rain is cold! Not as bad as the year it was sleeting at Alpine in June, lol.

I think we all need to make an offering to get this storm to go south!!!

100% chance in the morning, dropping to 65% chance by 2:00 p.m. (my earliest arrival time), continuing to drop throughout the day and evening, and just 5% by showtime. But yes, this is Michigan and even the forecasters know timing rain is not as accurate as we want to believe it is.
I give it 50% chance I won't see a drop......but the grass will probably be mud. Could be fun...but if it only hits 60 degrees and the wind is as strong as forecast (12mph) maybe not so much.

Says the person who admitted she's not going because of the venue

The problem is not rain its the ground. If its to soft none will be able to park there and will be directed to limited garage parking blocks away

Olympia will need to make that decision by 7 a.m., if they are going to stick to the time they've advertised. I can see them turning people away, only to discover later that it's not that bad and then allow people to park on the grass. That will upset some people.

Forecasts are about half an inch of rain, which is not that much but will be a pain if it's spread out all day. I'd rather see a thunderstorm roll through and be done in an hour.

And those garages have stated no tailgate which makes sense when it comes to how we tailgate...

Ground is already saturated so 1/2 inch will be a lot for the turf. Should be interesting. I'm thinking about leaving work by 1:30 and heading over there, if it's pouring I'll hit Corktown for a drink and lunch somewhere and wait it out. No ticket, so playing it completely by ear.

Got back...then life got in the way, lol.

Lots of portapotties as reported. Looked like they were laying hay (anticipating the rain?).

The trucks were there setting up. Interested to see how it all looks tomorrow. There were still some carnival booths, from the river fest? So not sure if those will be gone.

Does it look like that lot can accommodate a lot of vehicles?

Tiny and I'll be surprised if it fits a lot! Unless it's wider then it seemed or they are dedicating more then I think to parking.

That drone footage made it seem much bigger I feel.

Weather trending better, max % rain from now forward is 45% at noon, and only 25% at showtime. No more 100% chances and only the noon hour is as high as 45%. And that's only 14 hours from now, so greater chance of accuracy.

So as of now the scientifically based odds favor a dry tailgate and concert.
