Olympia just sent out a email recommending people arrive EARLY. And yes it was capitalized. I think they are worried about not having enough parking and traffic problems.
They now list west riverfront lot as LIMITED parking.
Will be interesting to say he least.

What a cluster #$%*.
Was planning on leaving at 10am to get down there around 10:30am. Gonna leave at 9am now just to be safe.

I thought that area looked tiny.....and since I had my kids today I didn't really feel like scoping out all the areas.
Not sure we are planning on getting there. I guess we land where we land!

1000X this. I've been to about a dozen venues, it's one of my top two, and not just because it's my local show. It seems the Ilitches got their fingers into Buffett and don't want to let go. But I don't know how Pine Knob can compete financially with these much larger downtown venues.
Saw the latest weather, too, it's looking a lot better. Not great, but better.

Enjoy the day my Phellow Michigander Brethren. I'm hurting not being able to make the show. As suspected, my p*ssing & moaning about the change in venue would be pushed to the side had it been (A) either a Saturday show or (B) work not been unavoidable today & tomorrow. While I can't imagine the pre concert tailgating will come anywhere close to rivaling what we've had in the past, nonetheless a "Buffett Day" is ALWAYS a good day!

I'm up and heading to breakfast. Got a new grass skirt pressed and ironed and ready to rock. I taligated in snow at the palace, 105 degree heat at the knob, a monsoon in Indy and cluster of a entry line in Toronto so I can handle a few gloomy skies and some parking issues.
Get up! Its Buffett day!

How many cars do you think will fit in the lot?
Got a feeling since my eta is now around 4 to be conservative that we won't make it in. Probably head to riverfront apartment lot if that happens.
