who names an arena "Spooky Nook"? :D

If only our Spring Break was that week and I wasn't already booked with volleyball. I keep threatening to show up to one of these shindigs and someday I just might....
well, ummmmmmm, yah, I guess I better come up with something witty to put in this spot since everyone is reading it.......

The arena is a refurbished warehouse that sits along Spooky Nook Road. The road got it's name from a haunted house or
"spuk haus" that sat across the street from the warehouse. :pirate:
Who's got the rum?

That is kind of cool both to hear there is an arena which isn't named after a corporation and that it is attached to a road. It seems strange to us out of towners, though :)

These 2 hotels are 2 & 4 miles from us. You may want to book now. With Spooky Nook Sports (the largest indoor sports facility in the US) only 5 miles away hotels fill up quickly as spring get closer.

https://www.choicehotels.com/pennsylvan ... c=llyxyxpx --2 miles

http://www.heritagelancaster.com/ -- 4 miles
another hotel close by -- book now --seems there is a sports tournament in town this weekend....

We completely understand. Many years ago Kevin's 27 Year career with Armstrong World Industries came to a screeching halt (with no pay out/severance package). His income never bounced back from that era - in fact, it has remained about 1/2 half. We are just grateful that we are smart with our finances and didn't have to face selling our home, looking into bankruptcy or any other financial issues (other than major tightening of our spending habits) as did many of his co-workers.
