Quiet. Somehow I managed to get a cold (Who gets a cold at the end of April? This guy.)
Other than a trip to get an ultrasound done on my kidneys, I've been pretty much inert today.

Evening LR & Sang!

No, they lost 2 out of 3 to the Yankmes over the weekend then 2 out of 3 to the Marlins this week. They're still in first place though.

Poor Bits. Can't catch a break.

The trip was fun. But I didn't too much sleep. I have a few days to recover. Oy, I almost said "a few eats to recover."

Evening bp.

Why trains (when I have the time and money)? First reason: scenery. Second: no security lines (for now). I could have taken a direct train from NOLA to home. But thats a 30 hour ride. The second option of Chicago to home, I've already taken that route. Which is a bit faster.

Oh yeah, no limit on liquids (well, no gasoline or that type are allowed). If you're in a sleeper you can drink your own alcohol.

The delays that Amtrak experience can be frustrating. But it has no control outside the northeast because they don't own the tracks outside the northeast. So I wasn't surprised it took us 2.5 hours longer to get to DC.
