I chaperoned a few of our kids' middle/high school dances (with the kids' permission). All the other moms wanted me to give them the scoop on their kids since theirs didn't want them chaperoning. I said "nope". You want the scoop on your kids -- you chaperone !

First birthday party for my great-niece (grand-niece?) tomorrow.
Sunday --- liquid diet, then prepping for a colonoscopy on Monday morning. Good times.

Good morning all. Busy weekend coming up. PA district III track and field championships Friday and Saturday. My top boy and
girl high jumpers are in the running for medals. Last week at the conference championship she took second and he took fourth.
They are both high school juniors.

Good morning.

I don't know what I'm going to be doing this weekend. There's another craft beer festival but I may pass on this one. It's being sponsored by one of the restaurants at the Marshwalk in Murrells Inlet. The area around the Marshwalk is always crowded on weekends, especially if the weather is good like it's supposed to be this weekend. Plus, it's Bike Week and there are a couple of biker bars in the area, not along the Marshwalk but within reasonable walking distance, so it will be even more crowded than usual. And there's only one road in and out of the area near the Marshwalk and it's one lane in each direction. I don't think I want to deal with the crowds and the traffic.

I just got an email from the World Market Members Rewards Club. To celebrate Craft Beer Week, they're having a sale on all American craft beer. Maybe I'll go shopping and have my own craft beer festival on my balcony.

Been busy, and I'm pooped.
Decided to resurect the Mind Bender again.

E and I are off to OK on Monday for his nephew's graduation. We'll be there for 3 days, come back to work for 2, and have a 3 day weekend!
