It appears that most of Mom's injuries in her car accident came from the air bag being deployed.
She's got 12 broken ribs and a fractured sternum.

Just had my monthly visit from the pest control guy, time to go grocery shopping. Then I'm going to wait a few hours to see how the weather looks. There's rain in the forecast but if it looks like the weather guessers might be wrong, maybe I'll go online and get a ticket for tonight's baseball game.

Yesterday there was a shooting death at 11:00 a.m. 1.5 blocks from the Courthouse. A police officer was shot twice before his partner fatally shot the perp.

Yesterday there was a bomb threat called in to the County Office Building where Kevin/PaParrot works. That perp is now in jail.

I guess I won't have to worry about running out of beer over the Memorial Day weekend. I didn't really need to restock, but I got to the supermarket and they had Yuengling on sale - $13.99 for 24. It's cans, not bottles, but it's cheaper than a 12 pack of Blandshark and it's 1000 times better.

He is still in the hospital but awake and doing well. 1 hit in the shoulder right outside his vest and 1 in the hand. The perp managed to get off both shots AFTER being tased.
