G'morning, sistergirl. Only overcast here, no rain. Just chores around the house today and then find somewhere fun to watch the Belmont.
When are you done with school?

Good morning Colleen. It's cool here.I am heading to a ghost town celebration. An oil boom town had 20,000 people there 150 years ago.A fire burned down most of the town, but was rebuilt.A second fire hit as the oil ran out.The town lasted only 500 days.It reminds me of Paint Your Wagon!
Without the gold,or Clint Eastwood.

School ends on June 24. On June 23 the eighth-graders graduate and we have a big staff shindig at my house. On June 24 everyone's head will hurt, their feet will stink, and they won't love you know who. But we don't have kids that day so no worries!
Have a fun day! Going downstairs for workout .

We had the ugly weather earlier in the week so we are getting a reprieve for the weekend and it looks to be starting out just fine.
Off for regular Saturday errands, then helping a friend organize her laundry (not sure exactly what the means) but then hanging at their pool and eating dinner there. Kevin is working at the home brew shop today and will join me/us later for swimming & eating. This is probably one of his last days at the shop until the New Year when hopefully his knee will be all better

Good morning. I saw a lot of people double fisting at the music festival last night, but most of them were drinking Miller Lite so I'm not sure that counts.

When I ordered my 3 day pass for the Carolina Country Music Fest, I also ordered a t-shirt. My credit card was charged on February 24. As of yesterday afternoon when I left to go to the fest, I hadn't received my t-shirt. The organizers of the fest have a customer service location set up a block away from the site. I went there yesterday and spoke to a "customer service" representative about not getting my shirt yet. Without even looking up from the notebook computer on the table in front of her she said "it takes awhile." I told her I ordered the shirt in February, it's now June, and that should qualify as "awhile." Again, without looking up from the computer, she gave me a post-it pad and sharpie and told me to write down my name and email address, "someone will contact you." I just found the original email from February when I bought the 3 day pass and t-shirt and there's a link to contact the organizer if you have any problems. I sent them an email to let them know that I haven't received my t-shirt yet and telling them how "helpful" the rep I spoke to was. I ended the email by saying "I used to think it was a good idea for customer service representatives to at least pretend to be interested in helping customers who have problems, apparently that isn't always the case anymore."

Didn't get one. I might have a picture at home on my computer from when Tilted Kilt was still open.

Sounded like the customer service wench should've worked at Tilted Kilt.

The former Tilted Kilt girl who was a beer wench at the Carolina Country Music Fest yesterday, her hair is shorter now. The caption on the picture says this was from 5/13/2013, my memory must be better than I thought.
