Here's a wave but we're going the other way, out 78 to Mr. Lime's relatives.

And watermelon martini? [smilie=yum.gif] [smilie=yum.gif] [smilie=yum.gif]

I thought the Orange was nasty, haven't tried Grapefruit but want to. Will have to look for Cranberry as well
The store where I usually shop has a pretty good beer selection but I went to the Pig today instead, they have more to choose from. There was one I wanted to try but they didn't have it in the make your own 6 pack section and I didn't want to buy a 6 pack of it in case it wasn't any good.

They had one called Sour Bikini too but that wasn't in the make your own 6 pack section either. I might have to go back there, bite the bullet and get a 6 pack. They had several beers that sounded interesting but they were in 22 oz. bottles and a lot of them are $10.99 or more/bottle.

The sour bikini one sounds sketchy.

How did I miss this? 300 8th graders, that means there must have been MILFs on the loose. :o

I'm not a beer drinker. I have consumed a few cans, but don't enjoy the taste.
That being said, why put flavors in beer? Does it help the taste?
Does it enhance or cover up the beer flavor?

Sometimes the flavors enhance the beer, sometimes they don't. I had one earlier this year, Rogue Voodoo Donut Bacon Maple Ale, that was just awful. I think some brewers, especially craft brewers, put stuff in beer just because they can. Then beer snobs can sit around and talk about their beer the way people talk about fine wine. When I drink beer I'm concerned about 2 things: 1. Is it cold?; 2. Does it taste good. To quote Metallica "nothing else matters."

Nan -- Party was fabulous, weather was perfect, kids were well-behaved. Watermelon martinis yummy and potent. Gearing up for some backyard karaoke. LOL.
HOG -- Well, I guess MILF is in the eye of the beholder. We did have some very nice moms who gave up their day to help out. :D

300 8th graders? That makes my ears hurt! lol.

Summer break usually mean a real crazy one at work. But with Common Core and all those exams, it might not be that bad.

Sitting on the upper level of calamity cove. It's stinkin hot but we've got the fan going so that helps a little. The luscious red apple Martinis help a lot

I'm having a beer and watching the Mets. They're playing the Braves this weekend and my cable system carries the channel the Braves are on.
