Hey Lime!

Been awake most of the night keeping an ear on the weather updates.
We were suppose to start getting rain yesterday, but Bill is spinning on his time.

I might regret this, but I'm ready to get this TS going.
They have been talking about it for days.....Our NBC station has cleared all broadcasting except for storm coverage since 10 pm last night. How many times can you talk about the rain we aren't getting?

Good morning.

Molly, all the talk about the rain you might get sounds like the talk about the heat here. The heat wave was the lead story on the 11:00 news last night. They said yesterday was the hottest day here in 3 years, which means it was the hottest day since I moved here because 3 years ago I was still in NY. It's supposed to be hotter today - 99 with a heat index approaching 110. I only went out to go grocery shopping and get the mail yesterday, I may sit on the couch with the a/c running again today.

Probably. They have been talking about this weather event since 10 pm last night. So far, we have had a few drizzles. I mean a few drops drizzle....not enough to wet the sidewalk. They keep assuring us there is a huge band coming this way.
It needs to decide what it is going to do because I have a Dr appt tomorrow and need to decide if I can get there or not.

When I got to my car, the thermometer on the dashboard said 102. The real temperature is only 97. But it's cooling off, the heat index dropped from 109 to 107.
