Ryan and I are going to see Garth tonight.
Houston is going to be a nightmare, so I hope we can find a place to park close to the venue.
I would LOVE to see GB again! Have fun!

People say to park by the house of blues and then walk. makes getting out easier.
we are going tomorrow night. we got a hotel for tomorrow night. with it being the 4th, we didn't want to deal with the crazies out. we can stay and watch the fireworks downtown too.
We have thought about HoB, but wasn't sure if they would tow cars or not.
They suggested be there by 5:30, so I guess we will leave here about 4. Yikes
I didn't know this was going to be an all day affair.

The Pelicans are supposed to have an almost double header tonight, 1 1/2 games. The official word on last night's game is it was suspended because of the weather so they're picking up where they left off, the bottom of the 5th inning, at 5:00pm. Then about 1/2 hour after that game ends, they'll play the regularly scheduled game, but only 7 innings instead of 9. Except the forecast for tonight is showers and thunderstorms likely, mainly after 4pm. I'll save my rain check for another game.

We haven't seen him before, tried to see him in LV, but couldn't get tickets, so this will be fun!

I was looking out from my balcony 10 minutes ago and the sky was getting very dark and the wind was picking up so I thought it might be a good idea to go downstairs and get my mail. When I stepped outside, it wasn't raining. I walked downstairs, went across the parking lot to the mailbox (maybe 100 feet) and back. It started raining so hard, by time I got back upstairs I was soaked. The sun's out again.

Good afternoon and Happy Independence Day Eve everybody!
I guess I arrived too late for Janice's naughty lessons. Drat!
Did some puttering and errand running earlier ..... now just chillin' at the tiki bar listening to some tunes.
Should I be expecting Linda's next post to be from the ER where Kevin & Steve are being treated for injuries related to power tool dumbassity?

Wow, that is a short summer this year, Janice, and you don't even have snow days.

Probably why they haven't checked in tonight. No cell phones use in the hospital.

Evening pholks!
Between the deluge of rain @ JLL and the atv trip last weekend my phone crashed to the point of no return.
Finally got the replacement today
I decided to celebrate by opening the bottle of wine I got from a local winery when we were in NC

Hey Bill! Can't say I'm picky bout wine...as long as it's sweet, I'll drink it
Sounds like you need to fill up your wine rack again!
Picked some wild raspberries from our yard the other day. Wanted to do something different with them so I'm making
homemade raspberry ice cream for our family cookout tomorrow... fins crossed!

Back To The Future was on tv the other day and I DVR'd it. I think I'll pop open a beer and start watching.
