The police were telling people to take down the homemade urinals all day. It is pretty gross that people leave that behind. But the venue also has to understand they need to provide more port-a-potties when they have a concert this large. They can't expect that the some number of port-a-potties for concerts with lot opening times of 4pm to be enough for a Buffett concert that has an 11am opening.

The cops were totally cool about it though. Guy I spoke with was like "Look, the health department is making us put a stop to it because people just leave the mess sitting there in the parking lot" - and you know what.. that is damn gross. I never saw anyone get hassled for taking a leak in the woods so leave the port a pots for the chicks and find a tree

Just saw this post and I agree those folks should be scolded. Or a lot worse. That's just plain ignorant and disprectful for anyone to leave their (literally) crap behind. It's those kinds of things that help lead to crackdowns on tailgating. Idiots.

even my friends in the Deadhead community were saying what a mess was left.
tons of beer bottles are bad enough and probably dangerous. but to leave home made toilets full is probably a serious health hazard. this sort of thing makes folks unwelcome to come back....

There was one set up (by non-BNers) at the end of our row. The cops very nicely asked them to take it down and they complied quickly. No big deal. Anyone who did leave one is just gross, no two ways about it.

This article is actually great. The venue manager had no complaints. He gets his business and understands his various audiences.

Every year the selectmen make a fuss about one thing or another. A Buffett show is the least of their worries.

That's why I posted it , after I read it , it was cool to see management in our corner , yes the underage drinking is a issue , but almost Impossible to stop.
