For people who aren't on FB, it was Animal House Tribute Night at the Pelicans game and they had another jersey auction. They wore these in the game, I think it should say "FABER COLLEGE" since that was the name of the school in the movie. This is pitcher Duane Underwood, Jr.'s jersey. He made the Carolina League All-Star team back in June but has been on the disabled list and hasn't pitched in 2 months. I just saw on the Pelicans website that he was activated and is pitching tonight.


I also won one of the Strike Out Cancer jerseys in an online auction and I picked it up at the game last night. This is 2nd baseman Daniel Lockhart's jersey. They gave me a picture of him wearing the jersey in a game.

The Animal House one is my favorite...after the Ugly Christmas jersey.

I'd still like to get #13, that was my number when I played softball, but the bidding on that jersey was over $100. I don't mind laying out the money since it's for charity, but if I bid on a jersey that's up over $100 already, I have to go at least $10 over the last bid and the charity only gets an additional $10. If I bid on a jersey that nobody else has bid on, the charity gets an additional $75. I guess I'll have to wait until next year, including tonight they only have 3 home games left until the playoffs start.

Yep. He plays the guitar. I've heard a piece of his on one of those "smooth" jazz stations.
