Good morning. There were a couple of lightning flashes way off in the distance last night but the rain held off so the Pelicans got the game in. They lost 3-2 on one of the strangest plays I've ever seen.

I'm now 6 for 6 in jersey auctions for charity, plus a 7th jersey that I won in an online auction that ended a couple of weeks ago. I picked that one up at the game last night. I'm running out of room in my closet.

Any old time BNers remember Kevin, Captain Morgan? He got married on the beach in Surfside Beach, just a little to the south of Myrtle Beach, this morning. Lenora, a/k/a Coconuts, was there with her husband Tom. She posted on my FB wall that they were at the Holiday Inn in Surfside Beach, which is right on the beach, and I just went to hang out with them and have a couple of beers at the pool. I was invited to crash the reception but I respectfully declined. I know Kevin but I just met his wife today. Other than Lenora and Tom, there were only 2 other people I knew - Brandon, I think he was KYParrothead or something like that, and his dad Bob. Besides, they're having a pig roast. Wouldn't that be cannibalism?
