One of the Pelicans games I went to earlier in the season was rained out and I exchanged my rain check for a ticket to the last home game of the season, which is tonight. The forecast is 40% chance of thunderstorms this afternoon and 70% chance of heavy rain tonight. Maybe I should have gone to last night's game instead. It went into extra innings tied 0-0. Bottom of the 12th inning, 2 outs, 3rd baseman Jason Vosler hit a home run giving the Pelicans the win. He's the player whose Pink In The Park jersey I won in the auction 3 weeks ago. The winning pitcher was David Berg, I won his ugly Christmas sweater jersey in the Christmas Vacation in July auction.

Today is Kevin's last day of "Freedom". I'm going back to work full-time tomorrow......he better behave himself !!

Good Sunday morning all!!!!!! Another fine day in CO, and another Sunday of taking homemade food over to the parents house. If all goes well, we're moving them to their new Assisted Living facility on September 24th. Wish us luck! Hoping you all have a good Sunday!

That is a beautiful photo! WOW!

It looks like it could pour at any moment.

The afternoon rain is here. It's still 4 1/12 hours from game time. maybe it'll clear up by then.

It's been raining steadily all afternoon but so far, at least according to the Pelicans website, the game is still on. Game time is 6:05, I'll wait until about 5:30 then if they still haven't called it I'll grab my waterproof windbreaker and head to the ballpark.

It's the last home game of the season, I wonder how they would handle rain checks if the game is canceled? I already have my playoff tickets so I can't use it for one of the playoff games. Maybe a game next season.
