We're supposed to be cloudy and get some rain!! I live in NO CAL about 30 minutes from the Butte Fire, so anything to help the firefighters is more than welcome. The Lake Fire is supposed to get substantial rain later this afternoon too.

Goooo, Pelicans!

The Pelicans wore special "LET'S PLAY TWO" jerseys in double headers this year and I thought I heard they were going to auction them off online at the end of the season. I was searching online to see if there was any information about a potential auction and I found this. I'm not a Harry Potter fan, I haven't read any of the books or seen any of the movies, but they wore these jerseys in a game back in 2012. I hadn't moved here yet so I couldn't have gotten one of them but they're pretty cool.

I wish we could give you some of the rain we had last week, we had a torrential downpour last Thursday. It wasn't an all day storm but it lasted more than 2 hours and the rain was coming down in sheets.

That would have been great! Our water supply out West is based on our snow pack up in the mountains. This years snow pack is the lowest in 500 years. I saw Utah and AZ got a big rain yesterday too.
